RAMBLES OF A WEARY MIND...

Reached a conclusion...there's hardly anything that a long cold shower cannot help with. Just stand under the stream for five minutes, eyes closed, head bowed...and you will know.

How easy it is to feign interest. All you need to do is smile and keep up a constant banter of randomly entertaining stuff. Or talk to them about themselves, make them feel good and important. Let them look at you as a chirpy easygoing bumble bee stumbling through life. Ofcourse, work keeps you on your toes. Constant interaction with people helps..having a drool worthy senior helps. Heh.

You come home, talk to the family. Laugh a bit. Be the ideal daughter.
But then, you let the mask slip for a minute and you end up with a hapless parent at the receiving end of your adder tongue, and a frowning sibling.

But the shower helps. It washes away the sweat and the grime...both physical and mental. The cold water down your back...cathartic...healing.

You get out rejuvenated. Try to mend fences with the injured parent. A simple kiss on each cheek minus any explanations takes care of it all.. Easy again.

You're lolling around, feeling that finally you have put the demons to rest, bundled them up in a sack and stowed it away. But then they come hopping into the room, itching to get out. You try and keep yourself busy.

Then your best friend calls..he's at his wittiest. Induces the first real laugh for the day and you laugh away the blues for the next 5 hours...

So true!! I can't hold myself from acknowledging that you are incredible at expressing your feelings. Awesome!!!

That's right. And when you do this, you are able to vent so much out of yourself. You know, I have been following your blog quite regularly, and would be candid enough to say that I look forward to you daily posts. Keep posting.

:) thank you... words are sometimes the only way you CAN express them..

thanks! :) do you write as well?

I do. And am an avid reader too. Your reading tastes pretty much describe mine. But the pressure of academics and that of good career start barely gave me time to catch up with reading and writing. But I have realised that life's hustle and bustle is incessant and vicious, and that I have picked up literature again, and a bit of writing too. I am currently reading Fountainhead, for the second time after 5 years.

yeah.. true that. i read it ages back.. :)
whats your blog link? (if you have one, and are ok with sharing it that is...)

Ah..well...I write but do not maintain a blog like you do. They are all piece of papers or occupy space in the forlorn pages of a notebook or something. I once picked up blogging but have on a hiatus for over a year and a half. This one was a subject driven (plastic waste, sustainability, environment and blah), and treated it as a blog cum research initiative to impart some mileage to my academics. Not sure if you'd be interested, but here is the link: www.getridofplastics.wordpress.com

checked it out... pretty evident that you're quite driven and really believe in the cause. i realize you don't blog there much anymore, but couldn't refrain from leaving a couple of comments. :)

funnily enough, i do the same thing... write on bits of paper, behind notebooks, here and there, or in my journal.. wherever i get a lil bit of space, whenever something strikes me lol.

Alright..Congratulation Kritzmat!! on having really inspired somebody to start blogging again!! I have decided to take this up, and this time the cause would not be environment or plastics or screwed up policies but everything to do with 'my being'..The forlorn pages of my noteboook will now find more dignified space on the blog!! Thanks again!! will share the link shortly :)
